Wanda Sue
Clemmons, 58 of Supply, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at
Brunswick Novant Medical Center. Mrs. Clemmons was born
March 1, 1954 in Brunswick County, the daughter of
Robert Clemmons and Geneva Pearl Hewett Clemmons. She
was preceded in death by a son, Adam Clemmons, and a
sister Lillie Mae Yale.
Surviving are her husband Homer D. Clemmons, Sr. of the
home; two sons Homer D. Clemmons, Jr. and wife Heather
of Supply, and Jamie Clemmons and wife Shanna of
Shallotte; five brothers, David Clemmons of Supply,
Jimmy Clemmons and Robert “Boy” Clemmons both of
Shallotte, Andy Clemmons of Ocean Isle Beach and Kevin
Benz of Ash; two sisters Michelle Clemmons of Supply,
and Jennifer of Florida; and six grandchildren, Lauren
Ashley, Garrett Devon, C.J., Austin, Robbie, and Gavin.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday,
July 20, 2012 at Sharon United Methodist Church. The
service will be conducted by Reverend Eddie Hill and
Reverend Jason Benton. Burial will follow in the
Georgetown – Holden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be CJ
Clemmons, Garrett Clemmons, Russell Clemmons, Danny
Galloway, Jonathan Galloway, and Archie Galloway.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Sharon United Methodist
Church.
