Tommy Taylor - Boiling Spring Lakes

Tommy Taylor, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, he has finally finished a long battle withy colon/rectal cancer. Tommy was a very active member of the fishing community in Southport. He was known by many as a friendly, caring soul who didn’t hesitate to share a good fishing hole location or a good fishing story.

He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 30 yrs Angie, his three boys, Chris, 19, Kyle, 15 and Matthew, 8 all of the home; his mother, Sandy Taylor, father, Pete Taylor both of Monroe NC; a sister Nancy Manning and a niece Peyton Manning both of Matthews NC, a father and mother-in-law Larry and Nancy Wilson of Southport; a brother and sister-in-law Scott and Robin Flowers and two nieces Jana and Shayne Flowers all of Fayetteville.

Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 3:00 pm, all friends and family are encouraged to attend. Dr. Garrett Albertson and Dr. Jason Bland will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice – Brunswick Center, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.
