Jeffrey Franklin Gales - Shallotte

Mr. Jeffrey Franklin Gales age 48 of Shallotte died Saturday June 9, 2012 at his home.

Jeffrey was born in New Hanover County on April 12, 1964 and was the son of Carolyn Gray Gales of Shallotte and the late Franklin Dwight Gales. He owned and operated Gales Concrete and Construction. He was a member of Shallotte First Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his children, Tyler Gales, Heather Gales, Ashlyn Gales and Amber Gales all of Shallotte; a grandson, Nevaeh Johnson of Shallotte; two sisters, Anita Gales Evans and husband Barry of Supply, LaDonna Gales Garner of Wilmington.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 13, 2012 at 11am at Shallotte First Baptist Church with Reverend Landis Lancaster, Reverend Sherwood Lancaster and Dr. Robert Weathers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Henry Gales, Roger Gales, Shay Gales, Lynberg Smith, Mark Ennis and Greg Gray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm, Tuesday at Shallotte First Baptist Church and other times from the home of Carolyn Gales, 4648 White Street, Shallotte.
