Hilda Grace Pamplin - Southport

Mrs. Hilda Grace Pamplin age 71 of Southport died Monday January 2, 2012.

Mrs. Pamplin was born in Robeson, County NC on April 1, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Luther and Anna Faircloth Wilkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Pamplin and a great-grandson, Teddy Hyatt III. Hilda will always be remembered as a generous and giving person and also her great honey. She enjoyed crafts and quilting and was an talented artist. She was a retired Real Estate Agent. Hilda was a member of Beach Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by two children, Lee Skipper of Leland and Deanie Anderson of Wade, NC; two brothers, Luther Wilkins of Fayetteville and Burnis Wilkins of Lumberton; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday January 5, 2012 at 1pm at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Road, Fayetteville with Reverend Ray Webb officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
