Johnston Stanzlaus - Oak Island
Mrs. Eleanor
“Lynn” Johnston Stanzlaus, 67 of Oak Island, died on
Monday, December 24, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Stanzlaus was
born January 1, 1945 in Morristown, New Jersey the
daughter of the late William and Eleanor Johnston. She
was a retired Town Clerk from Green Township, New
Jersey. Mrs. Stanzlaus was a member of Oak Island
Presbyterian Church and was a featured artist in the
Franklin Square Gallery. She was preceded in death by
her husband Harold D. Stanzlaus.
Surviving is her son Michael Stanzlaus and wife Angela
of Oak Island; a brother Bill Johnston and wife Deborah
of Raleigh; a niece Jennifer Wall and husband Brad; a
nephew Thomas Soranno and wife Susan; five
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday,
December 30, 2012 in the Peacock – Newnam & White
Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Walter Taylor
officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00
to 3:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
