Leila Hubbard Pigott

Mrs. Leila Hubbard
Pigott age 94 of Southport died Saturday September 10,
2011 at Dosher Nursing Center.
Mrs. Pigott was born November 28, 1916 in Hardeeville,
SC and was the daughter of the late George Egan and
Lottie McRoy Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her
daughter, Linda Pigott Clemmons and her husband, Dallas
Pigott. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United
Methodist Church of Southport. She and her late husband
owned and operated United Shrimp Company of Southport
for many years.
She is survived by a grandson, James Lee Clemmons Jr. of
Holden Beach and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday September 17,
2011 at 2pm at Trinity United Methodist Church,
Southport with Reverend P.D. Midgett officiating.
