Johnny Adam Evans,
69 of Southport, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 in the
Lower Cape Fear and LifeCare Center in Wilmington.
Mr. Evans was born October 20, 1942 in Orangeburg, South
Carolina, the son of the late John Adam and Fannie
Evans. Mr. Evans was a member of Harvest Outreach
Assembly of God and was a good Christian man. He was a
Millwright and had worked at CP & L.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Anna Evans; two
sons, Tony Evans and wife Donna of Orangeburg, South
Carolina, and Adam Evans of Boiling Spring Lakes; a
stepson, Randy Fadeley, and a stepdaughter Melinda Watts
all of Boiling Spring Lakes; three sisters, Diane, Janey,
and Betty; three grandchildren; and his pastor, Reverend
Eric Hinson and wife Mildred.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Sunday,
January 1, 2012 in the Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral
and Cremation Service in Southport, with Reverend Eric
Hinson officiating.
