Silver Coast Winery Adds Another Artist

March 22, 2013 - Ocean Isle Beach, NC - Leslie Scalzo, born in Williamsport, PA moved to Raleigh, NC at the age of twenty five where she created a hair design studio specializing in color. Mostly self taught, Leslie has studied under various artists over the years some of which include Don Thompson of Raleigh, NC and Neil Watson of California. Presently you will find Leslie paints both in North Myrtle Beach with a group of artists as well as her home studio in Columbus County North Carolina. Leslie's knowledge of color and an eye for great subject matter is the basis for her vibrant affordable oil paintings. Her subject matter is very diverse. Leslie draws inspiration from nature and is presently working on a collection of sea creatures and birds. Leslie's art will be on display throughout the winery until the middle of May.
