Southport, NC - The South Brunswick Middle School and Southport-Oak
Island Area Chamber of Commerce held its Fall
Good Neighbor Breakfast to recognize 30 outstanding
students. The students were chosen by the teachers for
demonstrating a positive work ethic and exemplifying a
good “neighbor” in their school.
Keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Mike Reaves. Dr.
Reaves encouraged the students to continue on the path
of being a good citizen.

The Good Neighbor Breakfast is an event of South
Brunswick Middle School and the Education Committee of
the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce with
assistance from Dosher Memorial Hospital and
Southport, NC Hotel
