Limited Donates Awards to
Brunswick Teacher of the Year

– Bald Head Island, North Carolina (NC) – Bald Head Island Limited,
the development company for Bald Head Island, announced that it will
donate a three-day/two-night vacation on Bald Head Island to the
Brunswick County Teacher of the Year. Bald Head Island Limited will
also present a $250 award to Teachers of the Year from Southport
Elementary, South Brunswick Middle School and South Brunswick High
Schools. The award is intended for supplies and equipment that the
individual instructor deems to be important to their curriculum.
This marks the second year Bald Head Island Limited has contributed
to the Teacher of the Year Celebration.
“We are pleased to support these outstanding teachers for the
important work they’re doing in the classroom,” said Kent Mitchell,
president and CEO of Bald Head Island Limited “We hope our
contributions can be used to enhance the learning experience of
their students.”
The recipients of the Teacher of the Year awards will be announced
at the Teacher of the Year Celebration on April 29 at The Isles
Restaurant in Ocean Isle Beach. The celebration is an annual event
hosted by the Brunswick County Association of Educators to honor and
reward one teacher from each school for excellence in service. The
Brunswick County Association of Educators is a non-profit
organization comprised of approximately 600 Brunswick County
educators that sponsors events that improve education in the county.
