Non-fishing excursions/boat rides; Bald Head Island, St James,
Winding River, Oak Island, and Holden Beach. On “Parrot Head II”, a
24' center console; showing parties of up to 6, the sights of the
Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), Southport, Oak Island, Bald Head
Island, Holden Beach, the Lockwood Folly River, Wrightsville and
Carolina Beaches, and Wilmington and the Cape Fear River from a
uniquely different perspective that only the waterfront can provide.
Cruises have included lunch and dinner trips to restaurants in
Wilmington, Southport, Ocean Isle Beach, and on Bald Head Island.
This “On-the-water Limousine” service enables you to treat your
family, grandchildren and guests to unique experiences tailored to
your needs, including (but not limited to), boating to restaurants
for lunch or dinner, sunrise and sunset cruises, backwater creek and
bird-watching cruises, or just getting out to view waterfront
properties for purchase consideration
One of the most popular excursions is a two-hour ride up and down
the ICW during which passengers get to see the old Southport yacht
basin, part of the Cape Fear River, the Bald Head Island Marina
(weather and seas permitting), and architecture along the Southport,
Oak Island, St. James and Sunset Harbor waterfronts. These trips
usually extend to the Lockwood Folly Inlet between Oak Island and
Holden Beach. We usually encounter dolphins about 3 0ut of 5 trips.
Parrot Head Charters can pick you up at the Bald Head Island, St.
James, or Blue Water Point Marinas or any other place that is
