Nate Edmonds Jr. -
Southport
Nate Edmonds Jr
age 56 of Southport entered into eternal peace on
Saturday October 6, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical
Center with his children by his side.
Nate was born in Aiken, SC on February 15, 1956 and was
the son of Nathan William Edmonds Sr. of Southport and
the late Connie Shelton Edmonds of Hartsville, SC.
Nate was preceded in death by his brother, Captain Kyle
Lee Edmonds who served in the United States Army 101st
Airborne division.
Nate leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his
children, Ryan Edmonds of Clayton, NC, Steven Edmonds of
Burlington, NC, Kelly Edmonds of Kernersville, NC;
grandson Ryder Edmonds of Clayton, NC; sisters, Dana
Edmonds Byrd of Society Hill, SC and Rose Keiser of
Manalapan, NJ; as well a niece and several nephews.
Nate’s interests included golfing, fishing, traveling,
sports and participating in activities offered by the
community of Southport; his favorite being the 4th of
July.
Nate owned and operated PMQ Services, LLC, a company
that he founded in 2006.
Nate was well known for his dedication to his family,
friends and community. He was a loving and devoted son,
father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who
always put others before himself. He will be deeply
missed by all that knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday
October 14, 2012 at 2pm at the Southport Community
Building located at 223 E. Bay Street Southport, NC
28461.
