Boiling Spring Lakes
Robert “Bob”
White, 67 of Boiling Spring Lakes, died Wednesday,
December 21, 2011 at Dosher Memorial Hospital in
Southport.
Mr. White was born September 3, 1944 in Philadelphia,
PA, the son of the late Ralph and Mattie Cook White. He
was a veteran of the US Air Force, and was a retired
teacher from Brawley Middle School in Mooresville. While
at Brawley, he started and coached the football team. He
had also coached every boys and girls sport at the
school. He retired and 2001 and had been a substitute
teach at South Brunswick Middle School. Mr. White loved
to fish on the Ocean Crest Pier.
Surviving are two sons, Robert James White of Hickory,
Thomas Linwood White and wife Amanda of Mooresville; a
daughter Brenna Everett and husband Tommy of Lincolnton,
four grandchildren Sophia Marie White, Rebecca Sunshine
Everett, Chandler Everett, and Jorden Everett.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday,
December 27, 2011 at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius
with Pastor Paul Turbedsky officiating.
