Mr. Joseph Charles
Albright, 80 of Boiling Spring Lakes, died Saturday,
July 9, 2011 at Universal Health Care in Bolivia.
Mr. Albright was
born January 20, 1931 in Moundsville, West Virginia, the
son of the late Joseph Stanley Albright and Cecilia
Beaver Albright. He was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church in Southport. Mr. Albright was a veteran
of the US Army, having served in the Korean Conflict. He
was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he
served as the secretary of the Pi Kappa Alpha
Fraternity. Mr. Albright had worked with Production
Steel in Nashville, TN. He was also the manager at the
Ocean Crest Fishing Pier on Oak Island. Mr. Albright
will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by a
sister Anna Greulla.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Albright;
three sons, J. Mark Albright of Cincinnati, Ohio,
Timothy Albright and wife Tammy of Winnabow, and Andrew
Albright and wife Brenda of Supply; a daughter Kathy
Albright of Wilkesboro, a niece Carole Ann Leyland of
Wheeling, West Virginia; eight grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday,
July 14, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Southport with Reverend Doug Lawson officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The
family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Wednesday evening at Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral
Service in Southport.
