The
Oak Island Lighthouse Run & Walk is an annual event
that takes place in April of each year. There are
two main races at this event, the 10K race and the
5K race. The 10K race begins at the Brunswick County
Airport, crosses over the Oak Island Bridge, takes a
scenic tour of marsh and oceanfront views on Oak
Island and Caswell Beach, passes by the Oak Island
Lighthouse and concludes at the NC Baptist Assembly
at Fort Caswell. The 5K race begins near the Caswell
Beach Town Hall and shares the 10K route along
Caswell Beach Road. The 5K race also ends at the NC
Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell. Both races are
point to point events and both beginning at 8:30am.
Busses will depart the registration area at the NC
Baptist Assembly for the starting areas at 7:00am,
7:30am, and 8:00am.
