Cape Fear Chorale Receives Arts Grant Supporting 2012-2013 Concert Season

October 30, 2012 - Wilmington, NC – The Cape Fear Chorale has secured an arts grant from the Wilmington Woman’s Club in support of its 2012-2013 concert season. The Wilmington Woman’s Club issues grants to non-profit organizations that support women and children with funds generated by their annual spring fundraiser. The all volunteer chorus has performed under the direction of Jerry Cribbs since 1998 and presents two free public concerts in Wilmington each year.

On November 18, 2012 at 4:00 pm the Cape Fear Chorale season opens with a choral concert with orchestra featuring Coronation Anthem No. 2, (The King Shall Rejoice) by Handel, Magnificat in C by Schubert and Gloria by Vivaldi at Grace United Methodist Church, 401 Grace Street, Wilmington. Soloists are Curtis Campbell, Cheryl Cribbs, Benjamin Horrell, Jennifer Justus, Molly Karns, Jennifer Lewis, and Rebekah Vaughan. Free. Donations gratefully accepted. Childcare available.
