Garners a Medal at the 2010 Sixth
Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association Wine Competition

Silver Coast Winery is excited to announce their 2008 Viognier
brings home a bronze medal from The 6th Atlantic Seaboard Wine
Competition in
Virginia. This makes a total of 241 medals for the winery.
The competition was held July
17th and 18th, 2010 at the Regency Country Club at Dominion Valley,
Haymarket, Virginia. All eastern wineries producing grape wines,
including Native American, French Hybrid, and Vinifera, were invited
to submit entries to the competition. There were 17 eastern wine
states eligible for this competition.
538 wine entries from 110
wineries in 11 states did enter this competition. Twenty judges,
representing all facets of the wine industry, performed blind
tastings.
Silver Coast Winery is a full
winemaking facility housing an eclectic
art gallery, two
unique gift shops, and beautiful picnic grounds. Tours and
tastings take place Monday through Saturday from 11 am – 5pm and on
Sundays from 12pm – 4pm.
