Silver Coast Winery – Wine Label Competition

May 21, 2009 – Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina (NC) - Silver Coast Winery in Southeastern North Carolina is sponsoring a competition for artists to create a label for a new wine that will be added to its repertoire. Maryann Azzato, Silver Coast Winery owner and manager said, “Our winemaker, Dana Keeler, has done wonders with local blackberries producing a delicious desert style Blackberry Wine”. This wine is described by Dana Keeler as “full bodied, round, ripe, succulent blackberries ruminant of grand mom's blackberry cobbler. This wine is styled to be served as or with dessert.”

This will be the fourth label competition Silver Coast has sponsored for its wine labels in its seven years of operation. The Blackberry Wine will be the 16th wine added to the Silver Coast Collection.

Art submissions, no larger than 8”X10” keeping in mind that the label on the bottle will be 2” wide x 4” high. Submissions will be accepted until June 30th 2009.
