	Southern Cape Fear Bridal Showcase Held *Press Release* February 19, 2008 – Southport, North Carolina (NC) - From cakes, catering, video production to a horse drawn carriage and more the Southern Cape Fear Coast Bridal Showcase held Sunday, February 17th at the Southport Community Building had everything a bride and groom would need to plan their wedding locally. The Bridal Showcase is an event of Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by City of Southport Department of Tourism, Bald Head Island Limited, Comfort Suites of Southport and Oak Island Accommodations. It's mission is to highlight the local businesses in the area that specialize in providing services for weddings and meetings. The showcase was truly a one stop shop for anyone planning a wedding with 30 vendors vying to earn their business. Next year's Southern Cape Fear Bridal Showcase will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2009. The next public event for the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce is the Coastal Women's Show on Sunday, March 9th from 1pm-5pm @ Southport Community Building.
