Support Staff Luncheon Press Release March 24, 2007 – Southport, North Carolina (NC) - The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce will recognize and honor the contributions of our local Secretaries and Support Staff to the success of our local businesses during a luncheon on April 25th at the Southport Community Building. After a filling lunch, attendees will be mesmerized by Belle Boyd's Aunt Tells All (Almost!) an original one-woman show by Joan Leotta. Drop in on Belle Boyd's Aunt Fanny and she will recount the many adventures of her famous (and favorite) niece, Belle Boyd, notorious Confederate spy and former neighbor of Stonewall Jackson. In the telling Fanny, a Front Royal, VA innkeeper will share impressions of the Civil war as she saw it from her own front stoop when she offered to let Belle stay with her during the "recent unpleasantness". This entertaining and empowering speaker is sponsored by Brunswick Community College Small Business Center. Admission Fee is $20.00 per person. Reservation Deadline is April 18th.
