Sixth Annual In-Water Boat Show
Makes a Splash at St. James Plantation

April 19, 2005 – St. James, North Carolina (NC) – The Marina at St. James Plantation will host the sixth annual In-Water Boat Show April 29 through May 1. Local residents and members of surrounding communities are invited to attend the free event to be held Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Guests can meet with local dealers of fishing and cruising vessels including Yacht 1, Blackbarry Marine, Marine Mart, Anglers Marine, and Carolina Boat & Yacht. More than 40 powerboats ranging from 18 to 50 feet will be on display.

“Having dealers showcase their products at St. James Plantation allows the St. James residents and guests to choose a boat that meets their needs,” said Jerry Helms, vice president of resort operations at St. James Plantation. “Our marina operator will also be available to assist residents in their buying decision.”

Marine-related vendors will add to the fun including representatives and booths from the coast guard auxiliary, kayak dealers, marine electronics, boat detailers, mechanics, vessel finance and vessel insurance companies.
